Transport Information
Monkey Baa and the ARA Darling Quarter Theatre are easily accessible by bus, train, ferry, and taxi. The venue is located within the Darling Quarter precinct, a short walk from Town Hall Station and Darling Harbour attractions.Train: The closest station is Town Hall. Exit south onto Bathurst Street, walk down to Day Street, then cross Harbour Street into Darling Quarter.
Bus: Services travelling along Elizabeth, Castlereagh, George or York streets stop at Market, Park, Druitt, Bathurst or Liverpool streets. From there, walk towards Darling Harbour.
For schools: bus drop-off is on Pier Street (enter via Harbour Street).
Taxi: Ranks are located at Wheat Road (near the IMAX complex) and Convention Place (adjacent to Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre).
Parking: First Parking Darling Quarter (via Harbour Street).

$15 daily flat rate (exit by midnight)
$4 weekday evenings (enter after 4pm, exit by 4am)
$12 weekends & public holidays (enter after 4am, exit before 4am next day)

Wheelchair Access: Multiple wheelchair and companion seating positions are available. The foyer and auditorium are ramp accessible, with an accessible toilet (plus ambulant toilets in male and female bathrooms).
Accessible Parking: Reserved accessible spaces are available in Wilson Parking Darling Quarter (Level B2), with lift access to the precinct.
Sensory Access: Social stories are provided to help individuals, including children and people with sensory or learning challenges, prepare for their visit. Relaxed Performances are also offered with adjusted conditions, open doors, dimmed house lights, and a foyer chill-out space.
Hearing Support: Assisted listening devices are available, and the hearing loop is well advertised with signage.
