Drill Hall

A heritage venue on Sydney Harbour, The Drill Hall is managed by Woollahra Municipal Council and leased to Critical Path as a dance research facility since 2005. Once a navy administration site, it now operates as a specialist dance and theatre space available for hire. The hall includes an 18 x 10m semi-sprung tarkett floor (removable for a fee), black-out drapes, portable dance mirrors, sound system, lighting rack, shower, kitchenette, change/storage facilities, and up to 40 chairs.

Getting There
The Drill Hall is located at 1C New Beach Road, Darling Point NSW 2027, right on the harbour foreshore.
Train: The nearest major station is Edgecliff (approx. 20 min walk or short bus/taxi ride).
Bus: Services run along New South Head Road to Edgecliff, with connections towards Darling Point. Alight near Darling Point Rd / New Beach Rd and walk to the venue.
Car: Limited street parking is available in the surrounding area, but there is no reserved accessible parking.
Landmark: Look for the large yellow building by the water’s edge, opposite No. 42 New Beach Road and past the Cruising Yacht Club.
