The Drill Hall is managed by Woollahra Municipal Council who has leased the hall to Critical Path as a dance research facility since 2005. The Drill Hall had been the site of navy use and administration for much of the twentieth century. In 1979, the site was transferred from the Commonwealth to the State. In 2000, the Drill Hall was the headquarters for sailing events for the Sydney Olympics and Paralympics. Post Olympics, Woollahra Council assumed responsibility for the site and is committed to ensuring that broad community use is applied for the space.

The Drill Hall is located at 1C New Beach Road, Darling Point NSW 2027, right on the harbour foreshore.
Train: The nearest major station is Edgecliff (approx. 20 min walk or short bus/taxi ride).
Bus: Services run along New South Head Road to Edgecliff, with connections towards Darling Point. Alight near Darling Point Rd / New Beach Rd and walk to the venue.
Car: Limited street parking is available in the surrounding area, but there is no reserved accessible parking.
Landmark: Look for the large yellow building by the water’s edge, opposite No. 42 New Beach Road and past the Cruising Yacht Club.
