The Old Fitz Theatre is one of Sydney's busiest and most activated performances spaces and Australia's only remaining pub theatre. It is located in the basement of Woolloomooloo's beloved 150-year-old Old Fitzroy Hotel. Over the past 26 years, this unique 55-seat space has become the leading NSW venue for daring, bold, and innovative independent work, and has been the home to over 100 Australian Premieres of timely international works, new Australian works, and landmark revivals. The Old Fitz Theatre is located at 129 Dowling Street, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011, within the Old Fitzroy Hotel. It is a 5-minute walk from Kings Cross Train Station, and accessible via William Street. Some on-street parking is available on Cathedral and Dowling Streets, while nearby parking stations are located on Riley Street, Woolloomooloo, and Ward Avenue, Elizabeth Bay. Wheelchair users should enter via the Pool Room Door next to the Stage Door and follow the accessibility instructions provided by Front of House.

The Old Fitz Theatre is partially wheelchair accessible. While the main theatre is located in the basement, wheelchair users can access the venue via the Pool Room Door next to the Stage Door. Patrons using wheelchairs or mobility aids are advised to notify Front of House at the Box Office upon arrival (60 minutes before the performance) and meet at this entrance approximately 10 minutes prior to showtime.
