Located on the Ground Floor of the newly refurbished , iconic Bondi Pavilion, this is a multi-purpose, multi-artform community and creative space. With a sprung timber wall, permanently mounted projector and projection screen, as well as some short lighting bars and technical patching. a picture hanging system is installed on the southern wall. The Yalagang Room is approximately 11.5m long and 8.4m wide. The venue is not fitted with any theatrical or event lighting infrastructure. The room has been designed with gallery style track lighting. Standard room lighting is controlled through a local wall panel. The room has been fitted out with an array of ceiling speakers for standard presentation and background music requirements. A PA system has been designed for use across the venue. Getting Here
Bondi Pavilion is only 15 minutes from Sydney CBD and easily reached by bus or train. For public transport info, call 131 500 or visit the NSW Transport website.

Parking
Metered parking is available on Campbell Parade, at the Pavilion entrance, and along Queen Elizabeth Drive and Park Drive North (503 bays, 7am–7pm daily). Disability parking bays and ramp access are provided. Payment by coin, Visa, or Mastercard; Waverley Council beach permits accepted. Max clearance 2.7m.

Accessibility Information

 

Bondi Pavilion is fully accessible via entrances from Bondi Beach and Campbell Parade, with ramp access and mobility parking at the front and rear. The ground floor is step-free with lift access to Level 1, where the bar, theatre, and hire spaces are located. Accessible amenities are available on both levels, including a Changing Places facility (MLAK key at the Welcome Centre).

The Yalagang Room is a ground-floor space (97sqm) opening onto the Garu Courtyard, with level access, mobility access, and a hearing support system.
