Qtopia Sydney is a welcoming and inclusive space devoted to the memory, education and celebration of the unique histories and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community. A true cultural hub encompassing four unique locations, we have the largest footprint of any Queer Centre of History and Culture in the world. We are storytellers committed to the core principles of empowerment and inclusivity. The Substation, our intimate, 40-seat underground venue, sits across the road from our main building at 301 Forbes Street Darlinghurst, in the heart of Taylor Square.

The venue is in a central location easily reached by public transport. Note that access from the street to the venue does not provide step-free entry.Accessibility Information
Queer Hub – Qtopia Sydney’s Substation is an intimate, 40-seat underground venue. The performance space is wheelchair accessible; however, there are no reserved accessible parking spaces or on-street parking for permit holders. Wheelchair users cannot enter through the main entrance, and there are no accessible bathrooms available for audience use.
